'I can highly recommend Hyrum "Moe" Brave Rock as an excellent hunter and guide with intimate knowledge of the Blackfeet Indian Reservation and its game animals. His extensive knowledge of the habits and location of the indigenous game populations on the reservation is practically unparalleled. He is very reliable, energetic and a dedicated hunter who is an excellent judge of trophy class animals. He has hunted and walked areas of the Reservation where few have ever trod, especially the area around Divide Mountain, Babb, Yellow and Chief Mountain and the highline along the Canadian border. With that said, make sure that you let him know what physical condition you are in so that he can get you to the animals that you are after. When I compare him to the other professional hunters I have worked with in many other places in the world-He would be in the top of my list. I have been very impressed by his vast knowledge of the unique habits of our Elk, Whitetail Deer, and Mule Deer, Bear(Black and Grizzly), Big Horn Sheep and Rocky Mountain Goat to mention the key Big Game animals where he hunts. He understands how they adapt for the seasonal changes and knows where to look depending on the weather and time of year. I have personally hunted with Hyrum on many occasions and have had a great time, lots of fun and outstanding success. I was very pleased to learn that he was applying for a Guide and Outfitter license for the Blackfeet Indian Reservation and fully support him. Alvin T. Yellow Owl Jr: Our main horse wrangler. Alvin is our first call when we need an additional hunting guide or head for the high country for backcountry camps. Alvin is an enrolled member of the Blackfeet tribe and knows the Reservation as well as few others ever will. Do to his long range shooting ability Alvin was asked to compete in a shooting competition called 'The Shooters' which aired on the Versus channel. Alvin was also asked to write a chapter about Native American hunting in a book written by author, writer and actor James A. Swan, Ph. D. called CHASING THE HUNTER'S DREAM.
'I met Alvin Yellow Owl, jr. and Darren Kipp a few years back. It was one of those special encounters in life when you feel that you have met kindred spirits who share the spirit of the wild in their hearts and minds, and embody the spiritual ethics that keep man and nature in harmony.
